Alpakka Kafka 2.0.7 contains updates to the testkit only.

Alpakka Kafka TestKit

  • Bug fix use the start/stop “restart” script for testkit testcontainers in the Alpakka Kafka testcontainer start command. This allows you to start and stop Kafka brokers without restarting the entire container.
  • Increase default cluster start timeouts and make configurable. The default timeout was hardcoded and sometimes wasn’t long enough, especially on resource-constrained environments such as Travis and GitHub Actions worker nodes.
