Lightbend is happy to announce a unified Code of Conduct for the entire Lightbend family, including Akka, Play, Lagom, sbt and Slick, as well as other projects and channels maintained by Lightbend, including the Lightbend GitHub organization and discussion forums. The new Lightbend Code of Conduct outlines standards of behavior and moderation policies in Lightbend community channels, and is closely modeled on the Scala Code of Conduct. Many of these projects had existing codes of conduct, and the new one was created to unify these into a single document and moderation process—not in response to any specific incident or new development.
We welcome all contributors, new and old, to join us in providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all.
